The competition aims to accelerate the practical use of the latest technology in an Aircraft and encourages
young learners to conceptualize a futuristic design concept that can be used to help solve today’s
problem for tomorrow.
Students ranging from the age group of 8 to 18 years can participate in this challenge under the primary
and secondary school category. To participate in this challenge, students need to enroll for an online
workshop where they can learn about Aircraft and get trained on the design software.
Participants must design an Aircraft and submit the Design for evaluation. The winners will be selected by voting and expert panel.
IDEATE
If you would design an Aircraft:: What is the problem that your Aircraft would solve? How
would the Aircraft look? What components will your Aircraft use?
DESIGN
Using CAD software convert your idea into a 3D model, the size of the model must be no larger than 10" x 10" x 10" (254 x 254 x 254 mm.
WIN
Shortlisted participants will present the Design to the panel of judges and the ultimate winners will be selected.
Judging
Each design will go through multiple evaluation process before they are selected as the winners
Presentation
Quality and clarity of presentation, Marketability and Feasibility of the design will be
evaluated
Innovation
Judging panel will look at the degree of innovation, Functionality and Usefulness of the
drone designed
Design
Each design will be evaluated based on the Aesthetic quality, Ergonomics, and 3D
printability
